Amazing Place Houston: Presenting to Seniors (Galleria Area)

Category : Event

I’m the program director at Amazing Place, a day center for those in the mild to moderate stages of dementia. I read that September 1st is Model T day. It got me thinking that many of our participants would love to see and hear about the Model T. I was wondering if one or some of your members might be interested in coming out to the center one weekday and sharing your car(s) with our participants (it doesn’t have to be on the 1st). We are open Monday-Friday. If any of your members are interested, please share my contact information with them.

Thank you,

Category : Event

Hello Space City T’s, my name is Edgar Ermis. I am the Website Administrator for the Pickups-n-Panels Classic GM Truck Club and I am assisting our Show Coordinators Noelle and Chelle on our 2018 show. We wanted to reach out to as many people as possible throughout the United States and invite them out to our 19th Annual Car and Truck Shootout! I know its short notice but it is coming up in less than 2 weeks on September 8th, 2018 at the beautiful Farmers Branch Historical Park in Farmers Branch, Texas.  Information on our upcoming show can be found on our website at: http://www.pickupsnpanels.org/annual-show/annual-show-information

Since we are sending this out to many of our friends, club members, and other car and truck clubs throughout the United States. We realize that you or your club/group might be a little far from our location, however we would still like to reach out to you and invite you out. It is an awesome show and benefits a good cause. If you have already been notified of our show, we apologize for the additional email, we just wanted to make sure we didn’t leave anyone out! Spread the word to your friends!

Our show focuses on the appreciation of both Classic Car and Truck vehicles and the proceeds support local and national charities. We are a 501 (c) (7) non-profit organization and our shows main proceeds go the American Cancel Society and VeteranHelp.org. We also support a few other small charities as well.

Bring your Classic vehicle out, show it off or just come for a amazing day of Classic & Vintage Cars & Trucks as well as family fun, food and games! Oh, and lets not forget the awards! Custom awards crafted by our wonderful club members!  We also are still looking for sponsors for the show if you cant make it, and would rather contribute. See out Sponsor Information page at: http://www.pickupsnpanels.org/annual-show/sponsorship-opportunities

We understand if you can’t make it, but we would LOVE to have you come out if you can. Thank you for your time reading our email and if you have any questions, please feel free to let us know! Also, don’t forget to check out our website at www.pickupsnpanels.org!  Hope to see you at our wonderful show!!

Willowridge High School Parade & Car Show – October 13, 2018

Category : Event

Hello, my name is Tyenise Blackmon and I am the Coordinator of Collaborative Communities here at Fort Bend ISD (FBISD). My primary role is to bridge the gap, between campus and community, by providing opportunities for partnership through hosting events, assisting in securing partnerships, vetting potential partners, learning about resources in our community, and/or educating stakeholders on what successful partnerships look like.

On Saturday, October 13 (10am – 1:30pm), we are hosting a community event for Willowridge High School families and the surrounding middle school and elementary campuses. These schools are Title 1 campuses. What this means is that at least 60% of those families are on free or reduced lunch. We want this to be a fun and educational time for the community. Our goal is to have a DJ, food trucks, giveaways, provide free haircuts for the kids, and provide resource tables for families to learn more about various school departments, organizations, and community resources.

We are looking for a way to make this event unique and create excitement from the students to attend. Therefore, we are wanting to have a parade, at the start of the event and then move into the auto show and activities for the family. I was hoping that you could bring some of your vehicles, that you have customized, to the event? We are also seeking donations for our free giveaways. Should you bring multiple vehicles, we could place your logo on all marketing materials. The event will be at:

Willowridge High School
16301 Chimney Rock Road
Houston 77053

Would you be able to partner with us in this way? This is a wonderful way to further promote your business, give back to the community, and allow many of the families (who may not otherwise have this opportunity) to view some awesome vehicles!  Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

10th Annual Current Car Show in Katy, TX – October 20, 2018

Category : Event

October 20th, from 9am to 2pm, is the 10th Annual Current Car Show in Katy TX. This show is always fun, great shirts, great trophies, expanded parking lots, plenty of grass, food trucks, etc. What makes it amazing are the classic cars!  Having several Model T Fords attend would put this car show over the top!

We have two objectives, 1) bring the community together, and 2) build appreciation for these classics. Proceeds fund Katy local activities, including the monthly food bank!

Cars & Coffee – August 18, 2018

Category : Event

Cars & Coffee

We are hosting a monthly Cars & Coffee on the 3rd Saturday of every month at Generation Park’s Redemption Square. I was wondering if your car club would be interested in participating? Our first event had 130 cars in attendance and we’d love to continue to grow it. Here are directions to Redemption Square. The next event is Saturday, August 18th at 9am.

Here is a link to our event page on facebook and on our website.

Due to the heat, we hosted our first event in the parking garage and once it cools down we will venture back outside to the plaza streets.

Please let me know if you’re interested in participating and encourage your members to join the facebook event for the latest information.

Thanks!

KSHJ Family Listener Appreciation Party
Mini car show for radio station event

Hello,  I am an intern for the AM 1430 KSHJ radio station here in Houston and I am working on planning our annual 2018 listener appreciation event. New to this year’s event, we are putting on a mini car show (approximately 4 cars). We still have a space open for a car, and I was wondering if anyone in the Space City T’s club would be willing to bring their car to be featured? If you can bring a car, we can run 30 second “thank you” announcements on the air for 30 days. We are expecting around 500 people at this event and there will be free BBQ too! You may also set up a table by the vehicle to promote the Space City T’s club.  Please let me know as soon as possible if anyone is able to bring a car to show at this event.

Event Details: 2018 KSHJ Family Listener Appreciation Party
Location: The University of St. Thomas
Jerabeck Activity and Athletic Center (JAAC)
School address: 3800 Montrose Blvd
Houston, TX 77006
Sunday, August 5 from 2:00-4:00pm

Thank you very much,
